Allergy Elimination NAET
What is NAET?
Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques, also known as NAET eliminates your food and environmental allergies through a gentle, painless technique that restores balance to your body’s nervous system. A synthesis of Oriental medicine and Western modalities, NAET can provide a lasting holistic alternative to the hassle of avoidance diets and medications.
What is an Allergy?
You eat cheese and experience an upset stomach. Your child suffers from chronic asthma. You get a strange rash whenever you visit your sister’s house. These are allergies – the body’s hypersensitive response to everyday substances.
Allergies cause respiratory reactions, digestive disorders, skin rashes, and hormonal imbalances. They create physical pain such as headaches, muscle aches, joint pain, arthritis, and fibromyalgia. Allergies can cause emotional and mental imbalances like depression and anxiety, ADHD and even autism. They often lie at the root of chronic illnesses and disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome and some cancers.
The NAET Treatment Protocol
During an NAET treatment, you remain fully clothed and lay on a massage table. After the practitioner balances your energy meridians, she places a vial containing the allergic substance in your hand. Using neuromuscular sensitivity testing, she then determines the level of your sensitivity to the substance.
The actual treatment consists of gentle stimulation to the energy meridians in your back. Then your practitioner will use acupuncture needles or acupressure to stimulate points on the front of your body. When you leave the office, you avoid eating or touching the substance for 25 hours. In the next session, you’ll be tested for the same allergen again to ensure that your body has processed the treatment fully.
Your practitioner will first test and treat a group of 15 basic substances, covering the essential proteins and nutrients that your body needs to survive. Following clearance of these 15 substances, you will begin work on specific allergies.
FAQ
What are allergies?
Western medicine defines an allergy as an over-reaction by the immune system. Someone may have allergies (an immune system response) or intolerances (the inability to digest or utilize certain foods or ingredients in foods).
In NAET, the word “allergy” has a broader meaning. For someone who has allergies, contact with the allergen causes blockages in the body’s energy pathways, or meridians. When the energy pathways are blocked, the bodily systems don’t function as well. The immune system might react with sneezing; the digestive system with discomfort. You might get rashes or experience joint pain, muscular tension, or tingling in the extremities. Allergies can cause a wide range of illnesses (like asthma, irritable bowel syndrome, or depression. See below for a more comprehensive list).
How do you discover what I’m allergic to?
In Western medicine, doctors might use blood tests or “patch tests” to identify allergens. NAET practitioners use muscle testing to determine allergies. In an NAET session, your practitioner asks you to hold your arm up and keep it steady as she applies gentle pressure.
Contact with allergens causes blockages in the energy pathways that weaken the body’s systems. When your body is in contact with an allergen, your arm will give in under the pressure applied by the practitioner. Your physical strength has nothing to do with it. It’s all about your energetic strength!
After you have been treated for the allergen, your arm will remain steady under the pressure applied by your practitioner. This is how you and your practitioner know your body has been successfully treated for a substance.
What if I have symptoms, but no one has been able to find the cause?
Your symptoms are not imaginary, and… there is a cause! Allergies can cause a wide range of physical, neurological, mental, and emotional symptoms. NAET has successfully treated many “mystery” disorders.
Does NAET help people of all ages?
NAET is effective for people of all ages, including pregnant women, babies, children, adults, and the elderly.
How long will it take before I feel better?
The number of sessions varies from patient to patient. Generally, you may have 10 – 40 visits before you start to feel well again. Most people notice a positive change like increased energy, a stronger immune system or increased well-being by going through the basic 15 treatments.
Does the allergy elimination last? Will my symptoms return?
If the clearance is still present after the 25-hour avoidance, it should last for your lifetime. The majority of patients do not experience their allergic reactions again. However, in cases of trauma or shock, some patients may need to be boosted or treated again.
What symptoms and illnesses can result from an allergy?
Keep in mind allergies can potentially be at the root of any illness.
Autism Study
GLOBAL NAET AUTISM STUDY
The NAR Foundation (Namudripad's Allergy Research Foundation) is conducting a global NAET autism study. If you have a child between the ages of 2-10 years old that you would like to enroll in the study or to learn more please visit https://www.naet.com/global-autism-study/.
Autism is a neurological disorder that is sweeping through the world at an alarming rate, currently affecting as many as 1 in every 68 children, according to 2010 statistics. In 2000, the ratio was 1 in 150. That’s a 45% increase in 10 years. At this rate, in the next 10 years, the statistics will rise to 1 in every 30 children, and 10 years after that, 1 in every 14.
There is no medication that can cure Autism, and the medications that are currently in force to curb some of the symptoms have side effects such as seizures, addiction, anxiety, hallucinations, depression, infections, paranoia, and high blood pressure, to name just a few. This is clearly not the answer!
NAET (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique), is a safe and effective holistic technique that has been proven in a 2005 study to cure this devastating disorder. Roughly 88% of the treated children had their autism diagnosis removed by their own individual doctors and neurologists.
FROM NAET FOUNDER DEVI NAMBUDRIPAD:
"Dear Patients, Parents and Health Practitioners,
We are planning to conduct a large global study using over 100 well trained NAET practitioners on a group of 1296 autistic children (ages 2 to 10) to determine the effectiveness of NAET in Autism Spectrum Disorder. Our earlier published research showed dramatic improvement, with 23/30 children receiving treatment being able to return to regular schools (vs 0/30 in the untreated control group).
Before entering the study, children must have a diagnosis of Autism from a psychologist, neurologist or a psychiatrist. Part of initial screening will include blood tests for IgE allergies, a five minute interactive video, initial evaluations in the office and functional testing. The NAR Foundation will pay for these evaluations. This translates to over $3000.00 and this will be free for you. All children who desire to participate in the study must go through a pre-screening using laboratory testing for serum IgE-specic allergens. If the children have high IgE readings on foods they will not be admitted to this Autism study.
This will be a placebo controlled study. No one in the study (including the administrators, your treating practitioner or any organizer) will know who is in the treatment group or who is in the placebo group except the Statistician. After the completion of the study the list of treating children and the placebo children will be revealed by the statistician. If your child was in the placebo group, after the completion and evaluation of the study group, he/she will be treated for the list of 36 samples by your doctor/practitioner.
Initially, the children will be treated twice a week over 4-6 months for 36 key groups of allergens. Treatments are simple and gentle, using acupressure and taking ~ 30 minutes. Each treatment can eliminate one food sensitivity, and children will need to avoid the treated food for 25 hours after each treatment. The food avoidance list will be provided to you after each treatment by your treating NAET practitioner. The children are permitted to continue their usual therapies they were on prior to entering the study.
Children for this study should not have received NAET treatments prior to entering the study. We will require a letter from your physician confirming your child’s autism diagnosis."
